Share Local History in the Community

Love local history? Enjoy being creative and working with others? Come help us bring our collection to life—out in the community!

We’re launching an exciting new Traveling Museum, and we’re looking for volunteers to join the team. This is your chance to help share the story of our agricultural heritage in a fun, hands-on way.

What you’ll do with your team:

  • Scout out great community spaces—like schools, businesses, and public venues—to host our displays
  • Help design and set up engaging exhibits tailored to each location
  • Dig into local history by researching topics and creating simple, eye-catching display materials
  • Work with photos and stories from our Archives and PastPerfect museum system (support is provided!)
  • Keep track of where displays are located and help rotate them between sites
  • Collaborate with experienced team members to select and showcase items from the collection

No museum experience? No problem. If you’re curious, organized, and enjoy working with a team, we’ll support you every step of the way.
