Proudly Serving the Community since 1972!

The Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Heritage Society is a non-profit organization, formed in 1972, that supports the agriculture, horticulture, homemaking, and quality of life in the local community. The Society's goal is to preserve the history of the community and keep that history alive for both present and future generations. When the Alberta Wheat Pool company announced the demolition of the Grain Elevator in 1995, the Society stepped in, purchasing the 1958 Grain Elevator for $1, thereby preserving it as a lasting legacy of the Agricultural history of the area. Today it is a fully restored, functioning museum, visited by several thousand visitors.
