Cultivating Connection. Growing Heritage.

Welcome to the Spruce Grove Community Garden

At 455 King Street, we’re growing more than just food—we’re growing a stronger community. Sponsored by the Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Heritage Society, our garden is a vibrant space where neighbours connect, generations share wisdom, and everyone moves toward a healthier lifestyle.

Why We Dig In:

  • Nutrition: Access to fresh, local produce grown by your own hands.
  • Wellness: A peaceful space for physical activity and mental clarity.
  • Legacy: Bridging the knowledge gap by teaching traditional skills to new generations.

Get Involved

As a registered non-profit charity, our garden thrives on the passion of our community. There are three ways you can help us bloom:

  • Rent a Plot: Claim your garden bed and start your growing journey.
  • Volunteer: Join a team that keeps our heritage alive and our rows green.
  • Donate: Your tax-deductible gifts ensure our gardens operate at the highest level.

UPDATE: All garden boxes have been assigned. To be added to the waitlist, please email garden1@sprucegroveagsociety.com.

Spruce Grove Community Garden

As a sub-committee of the Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Society, the “Spruce Grove Community Garden” is designed to fulfill a need in the community, diversify the programs of the Ag Society and drive new interest and membership.

The community garden project is intended to provide a sense of community and an educational component, while instilling pride and ownership in growing local produce.  It is intended to create awareness of where our food comes and an appreciation for the health benefits of growing locally and consuming fresh produce.
