The Spruce Grove and District Agricultural Society is a non-profit organization.
Our Vision -The Spruce Grove and District Agricultural Society connects our community to the heart of agriculture and its history.
Our Mission - The Spruce Grove and District Agricultural Society provides facilities, programs and events that bring people together to celebrate agriculture's influence on the past, present and future of our community.
When the Alberta Wheat Pool company announced the demolition of the Grain Elevator in 1995, the Society stepped in, purchasing the 1958 Grain Elevator for $1, thereby preserving it as a lasting legacy of the Agricultural history of the area. Today it is a Provincial Historic Resource and a functioning museum, visited by several thousand visitors from all over.
Once again, we are proud to celebrate our agricultural heritage and harvest with this annual celebration. The Grain Elevator Site is transformed into a farm and a playground. More details to come!
